Grove Church

I do like this picture. Not only for that lovely dress and handsome groom.

But for the church in the background. I actually know what the cornerstone says!

It says: Grove Church

Founded 1773

Rebuilt either 1838 or 1888.

A Wedding Portrait

Simply beautiful.

Young

Goodness! They look so young!

Maybe they approached this wedding day with a bit of fear and lots of hope.

Flora Fauna

Just lovely.

Pretty as a Picture

So pretty, isn't she? She comes to us from Chicago. I love the drape of lace at the hem, and held up by a cluster of rosebuds.

Its from the 40's. And it is  just stunning.

I wish I could read the writting on the bottom.
