Vintage Wedding Portraits
For those who follow my other blog "The Mini Naked Chef and Me" this is my second love.
I've been collecting wedding portraits for almost 9 years. I started right before my own wedding. I was in love and saw romance in everything (still do). So my first picture was bought (from the 20's) and my collection was born. My collection spans from a picture taken in 1911 to a whole /WHOLE/ wedding album from the 50's!
I enjoy collecting these special moments and it truly breaks my heart when I find them given away or in Antique stores. I buy them or in some cases, they are given to me, and I treasure them. My dining room has pictures hanging all over. Amazingly, the DH does not mind. In fact, he goes hunting for these treasure with me. He loves the hunt, I love the find. Win-win.
